Electrosoft is pleased to announce
Electrosoft awarded IDIQ to support NIST Smart Grid and Cyber Physical Systems Program Office April 3, 2015

Electrosoft is pleased to announce that we have been awarded an IDIQ agreement by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to support the NIST Smart Grid and Cyber Physical Systems Program Office. This office is responsible for the coordination of cyber-physical systems development (including smart grid) through various activities as outlined in the Energy Independence and Security Act of (EISA) 2007 legislation.

As part of this effort, Electrosoft will support NIST’s effort to advance and deploy the next-generation Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) across industry sectors. CPS systems are found in a range of industries essential to U.S. competitiveness, including manufacturing, transportation, energy, health care and defense. The smart grid is considered an example of a cyber-physical system. These efforts will address design, performance and integration issues with these technologies. In addition, the work will support the development of system terminology, methods, models, simulations, and test beds among other things.
