Electrosoft to Support NIST with Digital Identity Guidelines February 25, 2020

Electrosoft was awarded a subcontract to assist the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) with ongoing maintenance of its Digital Identity Guidelines and to develop a preliminary draft of the next revision of the guideline. Electrosoft will also support NIST in creating a plan for implementing and administering an accreditation program for conformance to the requirements laid out in the Digital Identity Guidelines.

The results of these efforts will make it easier for federal agencies to select digital identity solutions (services or products) that are compliant with current NIST guidelines and incorporate newer digital identity technologies and approaches into the NIST guidelines as appropriate.

Electrosoft is proud to have been supporting NIST since 2001 on a variety of standards, guidelines and framework development efforts in the areas of identity management and cybersecurity.
