Electrosoft’s Technology and Innovation Directorate team has built our own Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot, a hands-on way for our team to test what’s possible before we bring similar capabilities to customers. Today, it runs on in-house Research & Development hardware, giving us full control over performance tuning, security posture, and customization. This setup also lets us support sensitive use cases that typical SaaS chatbots can’t comfortably handle, along with edge cases that off-the-shelf tools don’t normally cover.
One key strength of Electrosoft’s AI chatbot is how it handles the “context window,” the amount of input it can consider at once. Many chatbots are limited here. Because ours runs on dedicated hardware with full stack control, we’ve configured it to support very large context windows, enabling use cases like analyzing long documents, stitching together multi-file briefs, reasoning over extended project histories, and reviewing cybersecurity logs.

In addition, the chatbot offers five built-in personas to match different working styles and tasks, with the flexibility to add new personas or fine-tune existing ones as needs evolve. Whether drafting documents, exploring architectures, or performing cybersecurity research, each persona is tuned to accelerate that specific kind of work, rather than being locked into a one-size-fits-all approach.

The platform can also interface with external data sources, as appropriate — databases, document stores, SharePoint, and beyond — so teams can bring their real work into the conversation securely and efficiently.
This project continues to evolve, and the lessons we're capturing today are already shaping our best practices for deploying AI responsibly for the missions we support.
