Electrosoft CEO Returns to Alma Mater to Address UMD’s Women in Engineering December 14, 2023

Electrosoft’s CEO, Dr. Sarbari Gupta, returned to her alma mater, University of Maryland’s Clark School of Engineering, on December 6 to address the school’s Women in Engineering group. At the Lunch and Learn event, Gupta spoke about her journey to become Electrosoft’s founder and CEO and shared “Three Life Lessons To Pack For Your Professional Journey!” advice for attendees.

“It’s still unusual for young women to pursue engineering and I’m heartened to know all that UMD does to support those who choose this exciting career,” reflected Gupta. “I am always inspired to connect with the next generation of female engineers. It was a pleasure to join the group for this event.”

Gupta’s Life Lessons urged the students to:

  • Show that you care
  • Respect yourself
  • Promote balance in your life

She holds an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Clark School of Engineering at UMD.
