PROBLEM

A Federal Bureau needed subject-matter expertise and project management capabilities to support the development and update of multiple standards and guidelines addressing cybersecurity, identity management and encryption.

SOLUTION

The Bureau engaged Electrosoft to provide the required competencies. Electrosoft assembled a team of world-class experts to work closely with Government researchers to define, develop and refine the needed technical standards and guidelines. In so doing, Electrosoft collaborated with other Government agencies and commercial vendors to assure that various perspectives and technology options were duly considered and reflected. Electrosoft prepared public comment drafts, categorized and analyzed the comments received, and, working with Government research leads, prepared the final version.  

RESULTS/BENEFITS

The Government, relying on Electrosoft’s technical expertise and knowledge of the standards development/vetting process, produced the desired standards in a competent and efficient manner. Electrosoft’s collaborative approach, particularly in engaging stakeholders in relevant communities of interest, assured that the ultimate work product was comprehensive, timely and usable.
